Today Bush gave a 4th of July speech to some brand new USA citizens at Monticello. Before arriving, his motorcade passed many protesters and as he spoke, different protest groups heckled the crap out of our president. They waved signs of how he should be impeached, they yelled about the war. They gave Bush a lot of shit and Bush stopped at one point and smiled broadly and said “we believe in free speech in the United States of America.”
After being interrupted about nine times, the ‘Free Speech’ was totally suppressed by the president’s watch dogs and the hecklers and their ‘free speech’ were escorted out of the crowd. So much for liking free speech…
Another Bush lie exposed, he only likes free speech when it says something positive about him. It’s a perfect example of how everything out of his friggin’ mouth is the exact opposite of what he says.
180 days left of the biggest liar around, the sad part is that because Clinton lied about sex, he will be known as the liar. Bush and Cheney and their war crimes, their torture sites, their outting of a CIA agent, their criminal use of info about mushroom clouds and mobile labs and reliance on Ahmad Chalabi to go to war, their illegal spying, their firing of attorneys who did not go after democrats, unfortunately, none of those were good enough lies to get them impeached like Clinton. But maybe, if karma comes around, they will be exposed and brought to justice somehow, I still have faith in the system, there has to be justice for Bush and Cheney, the country deserves that! 180 days can’t come soon enough! And I kind of think that the expose’ books by people in the Administration will be fast and furious, that’s the kind of free speech I like, when we are told the truth!
P/S — Is there any way we can stop the religious right from doing this to us again? they vote with their eyes wide shut! This is what happens when the people who cling to religious dogma are sold a bill of goods by the GOP spin machine. Especially by Karl Rove, the dirtiest manipulator of spin there is! Is there anyway we can make this NOT about the religion of the candidate and focus on what their goals are instead? I hardly think so, isn’t it time the religious right looked at reality instead of packaging?
