I watched the big Palin speech just now and you must see the movie “Drop Dead Gorgeous.” Sarah Palin IS Kirstie Alley’s character, Gladys Leeman!! I could not even stop laughing after my daughter called me half way through the speech to tell me this. I did not look at Palin as a real person, I saw a caricature! I saw someone who touted herself one way, talking about how she was into ethics as the Ethics Committee now investigates her. I saw her saying she was against the bridge to nowhere and we know that was after she was for it. I saw this phony who took plenty of government earmarks when it suited her, and a lady who sits in church and listens to her pastor say Jews get terror attacks in Israel because they don’t believe in Christ. She thinks God will give her a sign by choosing to enrich her state through drilling. I’m sorry, her speech was funny to me. At the end, when for the first time we saw Sarah briefly hold her baby with down’s syndrome, OMG, it was soooo staged. I swear Glady’s Leeman is Sarah’s role model. Go rent the movie and see for yourself!

I didn’t see the movie, but I’ll have to now. Palin is really scary. I’m afraid we’ve gone down the rabbit hole into another wonderland–I wonder if this cynical ploy will work to the GOPs’ advantage (regardless of whether it’s to our country’s advantage), I wonder what’s going to happen to us if it does, I wonder when our country will wake up, I wonder if I can seek asylum in Canada???
