NOW IS THE TIME TO ALERT YOUR SENATOR THAT YOU ARE READY FOR A BIG INVESTIGATION! 0da77e560afe2b06

Attorney General Eric Holder – “BRING IT ON” – Start your investigations! Screw the timid Obama, the Bush Administration needs to have their shady tactics peeled back so we can see the type of slime that was concocted beneath the scenes. INVESTIGATE ALREADY!
Pelosi and Congress weren’t the only ones out of the loop de loop, it appears that Dick Cheney and his puppet President Bush kept their own CIA Director General Michael Hayden too busy to brief about some, “nascent counterterrorism program” that Cheney took it  upon himself to push only to the ‘underlings’ at the CIA. The article just out by Pamela Hess of AP says that,  A former intelligence official, who was familiar with former CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden’s tenure at the CIA, said Hayden never communicated with the president or vice president about the now-canceled program and was under no restrictions from Cheney about congressional briefings. The official said Hayden was briefed only two or three times on the program.
So who is the liar? Or liars?

We are still being haunted by the Bush/Cheney ghosts — it is time for an exorcism!  It looks like Bush and Cheney appointed a bunch of ‘place holders’ like Michael Hayden and Alberto Gonzales who were kept out of the loop and were basically cheerleaders for whatever Cheney wanted put out there. Congress tells us one thing, Bush and Cheney and Liz Cheney another – WE ALL WANT THE TRUTH, (of course this is politics and one wonders if there is ever any real truth?)
Hayden was good at telling the press shit like:
From ABC NEWs -JASON RYAN and BRIAN ROSS Nov. 13, 08,
“…He, (Hayden) also claimed, without providing details, that the US intelligence community had disrupted an attack “that would have rivaled the destruction of 9/11.” while also saying in that same article, …”the CIA boss said the US had successfully isolated the al Qaeda leader bin Laden, referring to him in the present tense.”
Hayden was a “yes” man, there to back up whatever Cheney and Bush needed to use for cover. AND, yet it seems Bush and Cheney hardly met with Hayden.
From the Los Angeles Times, January 16, 2009, Greg Miller writes:
“Hayden also defended the agency’s use of harsh interrogation methods and said he had advised the incoming administration of President-elect Barack Obama against going too far in dismantling the agency’s controversial counter-terrorism programs.”
Hayden told FOX NEWS, “Five years after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks 60 percent of the knowledge of the U.S. intelligence community about Al Qaeda, its leadership structure and its operations came from enhanced interrogation techniques.”

WAIT, I thought we didn’t torture??? I  didn’t think we got that much good intelligence either, isn’t that why we went to war with Iraq? I thought we didn’t spy on our own citizens? Isn’t it time that Congress and the rest of us learn the truth about everything during the Bush/Cheney Era? What programs was Cheney in on? Were we citizens spied upon beyond the phone calls and emails? Did the Bushies go further than the interrogations and torture they are admitting too? Who really outted Valerie Plame and discredited Joe Wilson because Joe knew that the intelligence for Yellowcake was flawed and that screwed up Cheney’s reasoning for going to war with Iraq, even after Tenet took those 16 words out of the State of the Union Speech and Cheney ordered them back in?
We need some solid answers as to who really duped who???
We the people” seem to be getting duped again by a weak President Obama afraid to look under the rug, why is he worried? Let’s investigate, lets see who was lying and who wasn’t! Let’s have a Commission like the 911 group who investigated what was going on. Bush and Cheney appear to have used and abused us. Come on Eric Holder, don’t be a “wuss”! Grow a pair’ and investigate! AND HOLD PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE!
Bush and Cheney pulled a lot of shady crap using John Yoo, (SEE BELOW)  to override legalities.
This is the time to see what a real Attorney General is made of, investigate, investigate investigate!!!

From WIKIPEDIA:

“Yoo played a significant role in the legal justification for the Bush Administration’s policy in the War on Terrorism, arguing that prisoner of war status under the Geneva Conventions does not apply to “enemy combatants” captured during the War in Afghanistan and held at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp,[6] asserting executive authority to undertake waterboarding and other “enhanced interrogation techniques” regared as torture by the current Justice Department.[7] Yoo furthermore argued that the President was not bound by the War Crimes Act, and provided a legal opinion backing the Bush Administration’s warrantless wiretapping program.[4][5][8][9]

Yoo’s legal opinions were controversial within the Bush Administration. Secretary of State Colin Powell strongly opposed the invalidation of the Geneva Conventions,[9] while U.S. Navy general counsel Alberto Mora campaigned internally against what he saw as the “catastrophically poor legal reasoning” and dangerous extremism of Yoo’s legal opinions.[10] In December 2003, Yoo’s memo on permissible interrogation techniques was repudiated by the Office of Legal Counsel, then under the direction of Jack Goldsmith, as legally unsound.[10] In June 2004, another of Yoo’s memos on torture was leaked to the press, after which it was repudiated by Goldsmith and the OLC.[11]“
