Is Comedy Central casting candidates for the teabaggers? Honestly, these teabaggin’ candidates are just joking right? They are just being funny and sarcastic like Jon Stewart when they talk issues ??? – It can’t be right, or, I take it back, it is right — Right Wing, right teabagger wing!

When the Family Research Council, (FRC) via Tony Perkins is in charge of the teabagger, right wing agenda of the GOP party, can there be anything really sacred? Not for the mainstream thinker! Perkins and his ilk would love to sabbotage equality and fairness in favor of being narrow and spiteful and most of all controlling. Look at this headline crossing the Yahoo wire Montana GOP official platform: Make homosexuality illegal —   Is there any doubt at all that GOP  teabagger party platform with the FRC’s blessing is to exclude, discriminate and take us all backwards in time with their warped religious thinking? And it’s not even in the spirit of Christ –  they judge everyone and render a verdict as if we the mainstream majority are incapable of thought, they want us to let the FRC think for us.
With the FRC sponsoring the Voter Values Conference, how can we the mainstream expect rational thought when the religious right scripts their handpicked candidates? Perkins himself was urging John Cornyn to skip the GOP Log Cabin event scheduled next week to meet with gay Republicans, ooo cooties! He would exclude all gays from military service and never expect equal rights for gays of course, so marriage, forget it.
Whenever religious leaders like Perkins involve themselves in politics, they pretend God is acting through them, giving Perkins exclusive God rights  – isn’t this crap over yet? It’s a new millenium, where’s the enlightenment???

We know many rightwing teabaggers don’t believe in science, after all man rode dinosaurs 6000 years ago just ask Sarah or Huckabee, it’s true to them, what does science know? And equal rights, forget it, no equal rights for women are needed, they want to dumb us females down, just look at the women they choose as candidates –are you sure this isn’t Comedy Central paying these people to act and speak like morons? Delaware Senate candidate, Christine O’donnell — what a piece of work, no one really understands what she does for a living as a “political consultant” who makes $58oo a YEAR, and was she or wasn’t she using donations to live off of? Here are some examples of words that become  teabagger magnets. Do you think she will outlaw masturbation,  (which she equates to adultery) in Delaware and form a Sin Squad to enforce it? On stem cell research, she tells the public  in 2007, “They are — they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they’re already into this experiment.”  SAY WHHHHATTTT? to Bill Maher, upon taking prayer out of schools,” we were now “having weekly (school) shootings” – oh really weekly? She of course opposes all abortion, incest, rape no exceptions. She tried to sue a former employer for millions, somehow that suit was dropped and then sold her almost foreclosed home to her boyfriend for more than the home was worth, how the hell does one do that and for what reason would you do that to your own boyfriend. Can some teabagger explain what their logic is to me?

Sharron Angle, closet Scientology??? Is she or not? She thinks that young girls who get pregnant by rape or incest should make, “lemonade out of lemons”. Her thoughts on the UN,  ” Angle believes in United States withdrawal from the United Nations, saying it is a bastion of liberal ideology and “the umpire on fraudulent science such as global warming“  What is wrong believing that the world is in a period of global warming whether you think it was manmade or a natural weather cycle?” What is wrong with looking at statistics and science Sharron. And that fluoride thingie, did you know that fluoride in the water is a Commie plot – a comedian can’t even write stuff this good for a Saturday Night Live Skit.

Do the teabaggers think these are the kind of people who should be running the country, an O’donnell  can’t even manage her own finances should be telling the rest of us how it’s done? This Sarah Palin lunatic fringe won’t let reporters ask them questions least they expose the candidates lack of knowledge on the real issues. Instead they read from the Sarah Palin script of say a lot of nothing, (hence my words at the top,) or ignore the press so they can’t nail the candidates ineptitude like they did with her.  Palin has a deftness for masses who follow blindly and mutely, can you say mutely? Well,  they obviously don’t listen to much reality when their faux  news source is FOX noise being a huge contributor to GOP candidates. The teabaggers come across as always complaining about following the Constitution, until you put them into office and there will be big changes to that document.
It is frustrating for all of us to have such lousy candidates, but the GOP remembers nothing of the Bush idiot era that rolled the ball for our downhill tumble. Who do we elect? Come November will the teabag inmates be running the asylum? Will they then sponsor bills to outlaw masturbation, homosexuality nationwide while also repealing Roe versus Wade, will they invalidate science like Bush did in suppressing scientist speech? Will gays be flushed out of the military? Will gays also have their insurance benefits taken away when the laws change and they are no longer domestic partners? Will it become mandatory to read the Bible each morning at home, work and school even if you don’t follow the same religion or worse yet are a non-believer? Will we have to belong to the FRC as part of proof that one is patriotic and right thinking enough to pass the God test? – Yikes, someone tell me that Comedy central is spoofing us…ASAP

The worst part of this whole dumbed down teabag movement is that there are very few incumbents worth keeping, ie. Harry Reid,  but having someone worse, like dumbasarockAngle or more specifically,  controlled by the religious right’s agenda scares me more – it is really a time the silent majority must get out and not be silent for this upcoming election least we all lose many many rights that have taken so long to get. Of course, there is nothing better than when these Values candidates fail and show their hypocrisy after telling us how high and mighty they are. GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) – A Florida pastor says Muslim protests abroad and condemnation from U.S. government and religious leaders won’t deter him from burning Islam’s holy book on Saturday. This past Sunday, the Rev. Terry Jones told his congregation at the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville that they’ll burn the Quran to mark the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Jones explained that they believe the Quran is a false and evil  book that’s “against the Bible” and “against God.”

Okay – here we go again! Gear up folks for the end of the world starting on 9/11, Saturday now that we know the Dove World Outreach Center is anything but tolerant, peaceful and outreaching.

It intends to be the church that might begin World War III and as irony would have it, a religious man will ignite it literally by burning a sacred book that is holy to over a billion Muslims just because he’s uneducated and mad. Rev.Terry Jones is spiteful and not behaving very”Christian-like” in his actions and principles — and the worse of it, all this for a publicity stunt for selling mugs and t0-shirts for his new book tour, “Islam is the Devil”.

‘WWJD?  If you are a believer, you know He would never burn anyone’s Holy book – never! Even General Petraus is asking that Jones and his followers not put our soldiers in more risk than they are already exposed to. Most likely, Christ would turn the other cheek if you adhere to His deeds – so why is Jones anxious to set off the spark of hatred heard around the world by burning the Quran?  And what about all the rest of us who have to put up with someone like this whose ego needs stroking via media coverage? Will his fanaticism set off Islamic fanaticism? Isn’t there anyone who Jones respects who has a cooler and way smarter head who can talk sense into him? It appears not. Seems Jone’s is intent on being remembered for something and it will be for his rigid stupidity above anything else.

Religious fanatics and terrorists have no business screwing up life for the rest of us just because they think they have some God given power to do so — why must the rest of us, the majority of people on earth have to suffer and worry because of the abuse of religion through  the perverted, dogmatic agendas and delusions of only a few? There’s a majority of us who just want to live in peace without being subjected to the whims of destruction by the minority nutjobs thinking they have God’s blessing and can call for a holy war just because they think it is in their personal interest to do so -

Will someone please teach Terry Jones the history of religion and the teachings of Christ- obviously he knows nothing! Why is it he needs to do something this negative to make himself feel good? someone call a shrink! This is Florida, someone Baker Act him!

If only God would enlighten Jones and any other terrorists to the fact that the one supreme being, the God of Abraham who is the father binding the three major religions is being wrongly used. His name, however anyone refers to it;  Jehovah, Jesus, Allah, Yahweh or even Chimichanga, is suspposed to be a positive connotation, something spreading love and inspiration. He, the Almighty is supposed to be revered and respected if you truly believe. And whether you read The Bible or Quran or dead animal bones for spiritual guidance, the idea is to make the world a better and more peaceful place, not a powder keg because you disagree with someones’ interpretation of God and theology!

Please Rev. Jones and other would be fanatics, spare the world your superior hateful attitudes,  use what God gave you to know the difference between right and wrong – If you really believe in a higher power, then you would know He has instilled in you some core values, values that teach love and guidance, if you don’t know values, which is how the Reverend Terry is acting, maybe you could opt to use  plain old common sense!

Reverend Jones, you are about to do something that makes people lose respect for religion. What you are about to do is wrong, it is  premeditated malfeasance. It is terrorist thinking,  and the majority like me are hoping you will act like a true “Christian” and back off, open your church to dialogue with others of different religions instead of condemning them all, that is called judging, do you know who judging is reserved for? Not you Pastor Terry! And if you can use the part of your brain that might have some reason,, look at the example you and your followers are setting for others. THINK… just THINK Reverend Jones, think about the consequences of the ugly message you are sending in your condemnation of all followers of Islam. Aren’t Jesus’ teachings about the ‘light’  — about a set of principles? Let that be a revelation to you because if anyone needs light and a revelation, it’s you Reverend Jones, it’s you for the hate and ugliness you are about to impose!

YET they discount completely the facts that George W. Bush was a complete liar who pretended to be a religious man who spoke to God and God answered him back. ‘He’ told Bush to go to war in Iraq and I am assuming God told him to fib a bit about WMDs, torture, Pat Tillman’s death, the economy, the mortgage industry, the banks, etc. God must have a good sense of humor when he sent Bushy boy on that ship in full military dress declaring, “Mission accomplished!”
We had 8 friggin’ years of a huge GOP lies, (many included family value lies by their GOP hypocrite Senators.) And yet the Right is willing to listen to bullshit about Obama and his religious beliefs in order to diminish him as a man? Do you get the feeling that maybe Old Yahweh was trying to say something about false idols? You know, He wasn’t a big fan of idolatry..

I am appalled after reading an article today about the cleanup and illness of the crews helping at the Louisiana mess. The locals hired are becoming ill from oil and dispersents that the EPA has already  said are  “harmful” while BP says it is “unaware of any health complaints”. Something is greasy here, really greasy!
I don’t want to see Obama just saying he takes the blame, I want to hear that he has made it mandatory for protective gear to be given to all clean up personnel  better yet, if BP feels there is no problems and no one needs a respirator, because according to the Tribune article, Illnesses flare in spill cleanup, if BP handed out respirators that would have meant that the workers were dealing with dangerous substances, then let BP import British workers to clean up the mess instead of subjecting our own locals to the perils of illness.  Where is Bobby Jindal’s outrage at this? Why is he not screaming at the Administration?  Where is Obama demanding that clean up workers have protection: suits, masks, gloves and foot coverings? Why must they wait till people get sick if the EPA has already deemed it is harmful – OMG are we so lame? Is there no one in charge who displays common sense at all? I am so disappointed by Obama and his protectors I could spit neon midgets, (my favorite agony.)  This article is just proving to me how the oil companies rule us and we cave in to them- How can I feel any worse except to hear Obama say calmly how mad he is? AND speaking of big dupes, I did have one laugh today, and that was at Charles Krauthammer who has sunk to a new low for BP blame, (as if Bush/Cheney did not have their hand in the mix for 8 years crafting policy at MMS).  Krauty boy is now saying it’s the Demorats fault for the spill because they refused shallow oil drilling! Now come on Krauthammer, that is the most desperate stretch – you are too shallow! AND what a relief not to hear Sarah Palin shut her yap on her “drill baby drill” mantra!

So unless BP can prove that Texas Governor, Rick Perry was right, God was mad and made it happen, because we all know those Texan politicians read God’s mind and use His name quite often to make their points for things like going to war, for giving Asia all our debt, for being responsible for oil disasters and now for changing history in their Texas school books, and in this regard, God would give BP a free pass and they would not be required to clean up the mess.
A responsible party (RP) is not liable for removal costs or damages if the RP establishes that the discharge or substantial threat and damages or removal costs were caused solely by an act of God, an act of war, an act or omission of a third party (with exceptions) or a combination. This does not apply if the RP fails or refuses to report the incident, provide cooperation and assistance requested, or comply with certain orders. Where an RP establishes that a discharge or threat of such and resulting removal costs and damages were caused solely by one or more third parties (or in combination with an act of God or act of war), the third party is treated as the responsible party for determining liability. §§ 2702 and 2703.
So, does that make God the third party?
I am disappointed in Obama, screw an ‘OPA’ — when does common sense kick in and you gather the greatest minds around the world for a few White House visits, or just over the “internets” to give their ideas on how to treat this disaster – and it is a DISASTER OF MAJOR PROPORTIONS!

the need for countries to use it as barter and control, now I understand how the oil lobbyists are actually minions in God’s plan, and to think, all this time I was just a lost unbeliever thinking oil was just something we needed without  “deifying” it, but I was wrong Now  I am in total sync with the mind of Governor Rick Perry and his thinking –yes, even with  George W. Bush telling us he spoke to God and God wanted war with Iraq and oil would pay for it, It all makes sense,  it’s all the hands of God’s oil companies — AMEN! I feel so relieved, and greasy at the same time….

Normally I would have some of my backyard photos on here, but this topic needs more attention – they say that possibly as many as 200,000 gallons a day of oil are spewing into the Gulf. It makes me sick, it makes me shiver at the thought of our shorelines littered with oil globs and dying birds and tides bringing in tons of affected sea life.
Why do I feel like the efforts to stop the leak are just kind of half assed, learn as you go – non priority? Our water is our life source, it is an industry. Why was there no real plan in place to begin with for these leaks? When these jerks say “Drill baby drill” that should exclude our oceans, they are too precious and now that we see what can happen when we get greedy, Let’s keep the water off limits for drilling! What is wrong with our society when we can’t gather the great minds to figure on alternative energy sources for the good of our country, for the good of our earth! Our planet is what sustains us and if we pollute it enough, goodbye life as we know it!  I feel this sense great sense of urgency- do you?
The Gulf being polluted is going to have a deep financial impact: the fishing industry, the resorts, the economy besides the creatures of the sea. I think of my son Aaron who like so many others loves to venture out in the Gulf and fish the day away – well guess what, fish while you can because it might be years before the sea is fishable at the rate the oil is leaking.

Why is this not considered a national disaster and treated as such? BP, Halliburton, they blame each other while oil gushes and pollutes – something tells me the ramifications will be much worse than what we are told.
